Skylines Rest is set in the very heart of Glyncorrwg in the Afan Valley, South Wales. Surrounded by the hills and mountains where miles of mountain bike trails now exist, the epic 46km 'Skyline' trail with its 2000m climb being the most challenging in the area. Download Skyline trail map here

Our self catering accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable. The large ground floor living area is ideal for groups, where there is plenty of room to relax after a day of riding.

The lounge has a 21inch colour t.v. with freeview satellite channels, and a DVD player. In the lounge there is a double sofa bed, and plenty of room for extra guests if required. We have supplied a pull out futon style bed, and people have asked if they can bring their own camp beds/air beds etc, where their groups have been larger, which we do not mind at all, (please note however that we only provide bed linen and towels for up to 6 people)

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven/hob , fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, washing machine, and tumble dryer.

There is a spacious bathroom with bath/shower facilities and plenty of hot water from the combi boiler.

There are two bedrooms, one twin and one bunk-bed room with plenty of wardrobe space in each.

Skylines Rest has gas central heating and is fully double glazed, so whatever time of year you will be cosy.

There is a secure lock-up with a steel door and padlock, with a bike rack for 4 bikes and room enough for other storage if required. The lockup has an automatic light and a hot water hose. There is also convenient access to the rear lane through another lockable steel gate.

Bed linen and towels are provided and £5 worth of electricity and £5 worth gas on the prepayment meters (which should easily see you through a weekend, more credits are avaible from shop and postoffice, 30 second walk)

There is also residents parking outside of the house.

Please note that mobile phone signals are not fantastic in Glyncorrwg, however Orange network does offer some signal.
