Terms and ConditionsWe want all of our guests to enjoy their stay at Skyline Rest. We do however need to point out the following terms and conditions in order that we can continue to provide a quality service to all of our guests, and provide information that will protect our guests and ourselves in the unlikely event of any dispute. The booking is provisional until full payment is received. If full payment is not received at least four weeks prior to the start date then the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. Cancellation - Deposits are non-refundable and guests are liable for the full cost if canceling a confirmed booking. Behaviour - The property is in a residential area. We would politely ask that our guests act and behave in a way as not to cause nuisance or offence to neighouring properties. Please note that we are entitled to ask you to leave the holiday property, without refund if in our opinion your behavior is unacceptable. Web sites Accuracy - We do everything we can to ensure the accuracy of the information. However, errors unfortunately can happen. Travel - All travel distances are approximate. Pets - No pets are allowed at anytime unless we have made an exception by prior arrangement. (Separate rules, agreements and fees will apply.) Your Responsibilities - You must look after the property. This means you must keep all furniture, fittings and effects, (inside or outside the property) in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday - You must leave the property in the same state of general order in which you found it - If you break these conditions the Owner/Caretaker can make an additional cleaning charge and/or make a claim against you for repair or loss as a result of damage caused. Insurance - we recommend that you have holiday insurance. Gardens – You are responsible for your children, they must be supervised, or use gardens at their own risk. If one of your parties suffers from bed-wetting it is your responsibility to provide a protective plastic bed sheet. Dissatisfaction – Your stay is very important to us, as are your recommendations to others so if there is a problem please inform us while you are here. Please do not wait until you return home. Disability Discrimination Act and Caring for your Safety. It is the guest’s responsibility (particularly parents with young children) to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible hazards. Check the layout of your holiday property so that in an emergency you can get out quickly and easily. Please note and respect any warning/hazard/restriction notices that the owners have placed in the property and its grounds. Please remember that many old properties were built before the days of disability discrimination acts therefore we would like to point out a few facts to assist the in the disability discrimination act. The rear door to the property has a series of steps down to the garden and lockup areas. There is a hand rail, but these steps may cause a danger to elderly or infirm individuals, or small children. We do not accept any responsibility for accidents that may happen on or around these steps. We would also point out that the lockup is below the property in the cellar. The door opening and ceiling to this area is not full height, and there is an internal step down into the cellar, so guests should be aware and take precautions not to injure themselves on entry or exit to the lockup.
If you need further info please ask.
